Nigeria Lawmaker Alhassan Alolo Yussuf Bawa Says Dethronement of Sanusi Lamido Will Divide Islam
Muhammad Sanusi II has been dethroned as the Emir of Kano by the Governor Abdullahi Ganduje-led administration.
Hours later after he was removed from office for “insubordination” and “disrespect,” the former traditional ruler was replaced by Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.
Until March 9, 2020, Muhammadu Sanusi II (Sanusi Lamido Sanusi) was the Emir of Kano.
Nigeria Lawmaker Alhassan Alolo Yussuf Bawa reacting to the Dethronement says; “The Removal of the Emir of Kano is in total disrespect to Islam rules
According to Bawa, it is not in the place of a Governor to impeach an appointed prophet who leads a great number of Muslims in an entire state. He says ‘There’s no other way to explaining the ultra-precision of these acts. ‘Sanusi was appointed by Allah and only Allah can remove him from the throne’ He says this is the reason why he was impeached as the CBN Governor because he is daily and consistently fighting the corrupt government
Alhassan Alolo Yussuf Bawa says the alleged crime is the long-standing fight with Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje which is in no way a crime for an Islamic leader. He Says Sanusi has been fighting a lot more people in politics and nothing has happened but the Governor also said he fraternizes with the enemy (the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Abba Kabir-Yusuf);
Alhassan Alolo Yussuf Bawa Says as the 14th Emir in a long line of prestigious monarchs, Sanusi bore the devoir of upholding his grandfather’s legacy – who was himself an Emir, the very one before Premier Ahmadu Bello.
‘Nigerians must Enforce for the re-instate of one of the greatest Islam leader, He is a capable hand in administration and his dynamics of leadership is excellent’. Bawa to start a Sanusi’s Movement and he implores Muslims to Stand for Sanusi
