Nigerian music star Joshua Iniyezo popularly known as Solidstar has ended his 10-year association with record label, Achievas Entertainment.
The singer who shot to stardom after his 2Baba assisted single “One in a Million” dropped his debut album of the same title under the label in 2010.
10 years later and four successful albums, both parties have now decided to part ways in mutual fashion. Solidstar wrote on his Instagram page:
I Joshua Iniyezo AKA SOLIDSTAR wish to use this opportunity to thank my former label Achievas Ent for being there for me over 10yrs Words cannot express how grateful I am, Special S/O to @ossyachievas@colepeter my Bosses and the entire team for having my backu r still my family even as I begin another chapter career wise #Shaba!
The label also released their statement via their Instagram page thus;
We wish to hereby inform the public that Achievas Entertainmenthas ended its contract agreement with musician, Solidstar @officialsolidstar. The two parties reached a mutual decision to end the contract after working for over 10years together. All previous recording audios, music videos, albums of the singer remains property of Achievas Entertainment.
We wish him all the best as he starts a new life!
Nigerian singer Anidugbe Tobiloba Daniel popularly known as Kiss Danielhas been dragged to court by his former label G-Worldwide Entertainment,according to a report by PUNCH.
The singer just recently floated his own personal label Flyboy I.N.C after announcing his exit from the label he had represented for close to 5 years. He also dropped a new single titled “No Do“, his first under the new imprint.
G-Worldwide through their lawyers Calmhill Partners have however now dragged the singer to court for “taking steps to appoint a new manager, solicit for bookings, and has continued to negotiate and enter performance agreements in respect of the songs from the album “New Era“, and “Evolution” which is set to be released soon containing singles such as “Yeba“, “For You“, “Senorita“, “Sofa” and others, produced under the contract, including using the stage name ‘Kiss Daniel’ without the company’s prior consent and permission.”
According to PUNCH, a Federal High Court in Lagos on the 30th of November ruled that all parties should maintain their status quo pending the final hearing. The court order which was signed by Hon. Justice Babs Kuewumiread:
The import of the order being that the stateunder which the parties existed under the contract should be preserved until the court makes a determination of the motion on notice filed by the company. All and any dealings in respect of the upload, distribution, and or performance of any of the songs, as well as the use or exploitation of the name ‘Kiss Daniel’ can therefore only be entered or made with the prior written consent and permission of the company as provided under the contract.
It is hereby ordered as follows that in the interim both parties are ordered to maintain the status quo ante bellum under the recording contract pending the hearing of the motion on notice.
Chocolate City artiste Ice Prince Zamani is set to release his biggest record yet.
Taking to Twitter, Zamani wrote saying:
This leaves fans guessing and anticipating what the rapper has in store to release.
The Super Cool Cats boss is also gearing to release his third studio album titled “Jos to the world” which

Prince rose to fame with his Jesse Jagz produced his song ‘Oleku’ in 2011 off his debut album “Everybody Loves Ice Prince”. Other singles such as ‘Magician’ ‘Juju’ and ‘Superstar’are some of his biggest hits off the album that shot the rapper to fame.
The pop star won the Channel O Music Video Awards Best Newcomer Video in 2011 for his hit song ‘Oleku’ featuring Brymo.
Ice though still under Chocolate City Music floated his own record label Super Cool Cats back in 2015 with a couple of artistes already signed up.
According to the SUN, football player, Lionel Messi blocked Miss Bvm Bvm Brazil 2015, Suzy Cortez
from sending him indecent photos on Instagram.
Cortez claimed that Messi’s partner, Antonella Roccuzzo, became jealous when she saw the types of inappropriate photos she was sending to Messi on IG and blocked her..both on her own IG and Messi’s IG
Cortez said she had no ulterior motive when she sent those photos and hat she was just a fan. She said
“I was completely shocked when I spotted it,.
“If I could, I would tell her not to be worried about me, I’m just a fan. I’m surprised that she isn’t more sure of herself.”
“I guess it can only be because she is jealous.
It’s very silly because I’m just a football fan and a huge fan of Barcelona.
This is just an Overreaction” “I only follow about 10 people and he was one of them.
So when I saw that I was blocked I
thought it could only be jealousy,” Cortez told the Sun.
“Why would he block me if he has 40
