This morning, Friday 19, February 2016, we reported that policemen took over PSquare’s “Squareville” mansion in Omole Phase I, Lagos, Nigeria.
After the news went viral online, Paul PSquare debunked the story on social media, he claimed that the story was false, he also told fans to ignore the story in his social media post; “Pls ignore the rumors that is spreading that our house is on fire lol. People sha! God forbid…..there was a situation in our neighborhood early hours of this morning….and our attention was needed,” Paul posted on his IG page.
However, an eyewitness has narrated how the scenario happened with photo evidence. “It allegedly started few months ago. The duo, PSquare were billed to perform at a show but they didn’t after the management changed the date of the show.
The singers were already paid an upfront of N8million. Because the date of the show was changed, Psquare refused to extend their stand also allegedly refused to refund the money paid to them.
The organisers of the event dragged them to court but the singing duo refused to honour the invitation from the court.
At the end the man finally won the case and the result is the brouhaha we witnessed today.”
