EXCLUSIVE: Why We Think Kizz Daniel Never Signed Philkeyz To FlyBoy INC

It is not true that singer, Kizz Daniel signed Philkeyz to his label, FlyBoy INC. This report is coming from an insider who prefers to maintain anonymity.
Ahead of the release of his “No Bad Songz” album, Kizz Daniel announced the signing of two new acts – Philkeyz & Demmie Vee – to Flyboy INC, on social media.

The singer shared what looks like a promotional picture of himself, Demmie Vee and Philkeyz as FlyBoy acts; on his Instagram page. He used the caption, “welcome to FLYBOY INC @demmieveeofficial @philkeyz.”

However, a new report has put a lie to the story. The source claims that Philkeyz is not signed to FlyBoy INC, backing up the claim with the fact that there is nothing to link the producer with the label, on his social media profile. Philkeyz does not have the name of the label in his IG bio, he didn’t share the post used by Kizz Daniel to announce his signing to FlyBoy INC either; although Demmie Vee did.

The first sign of confusion appeared after Kizz Daniel shared a video about his new signees on his Insta story. In the video, the “ No Do ” singer verbally congratulated both Demmie Vee and Philkeyz; but he only mentioned the former in his caption. He said, “I want to say a very big congratulations to Demmie Vee and Philkeyz. Bigups mehn. It is so good to be working with you guys. More success and many more hits together. One love, FlyBoy”; but wrote in his caption, “congrats @demmieveeofficial I cant wait for our jam to enter. ”

At first it appeared as an innocent omission but the latest report alludes to the omission being deliberate. The source said Kizz Daniel was trying to backtrack the announcement after realizing that Philkeyz was not playing along. The source confirmed that in deed Kizz Daniel approached Philkeyz with an offer but the offer was not taken by the producer.

Reacting to the question on how Philkeyz appeared in the FlyBoy INC label acts’ unveiling picture, the source said, “Kizz Daniel tricked Philkeyz to take a picture with him for the promotion of NBS ‘cos Philkeyz was part of the project.”

This report is coming as a shocker considering that Kizz Daniel only recently dusted off the ash of his former label and it was starting to look like he is enjoying a new lease of life as a freeman, a label owner and an artist with a potentially big album on the way. This new controversy is looking like a bad omen for the widely loved singer especially now that the release date of his album is near.

Tinubu vs Saraki: Talk about 2023 presidency premature, says APC

The President of the Senate , Dr Bukola Saraki ’ s statement on the 2023 presidential ambition of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress attracted diverse reactions on Tuesday.
Saraki had on Monday said Tinubu was supporting President Muhammadu Buhari’ s re- election with the hope of succeeding the President in 2023.

The Senate president also said Tinubu told him he would support Buhari even if he was on a stretcher.

Saraki spoke in reaction to a statement on Sunday by Tinubu, alleging that the Senate president dumped the

PC because of his presidential ambition and selfish quest for power .
The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Yekini Nabena , in an interview with one of our correspondents, indicated that it was premature to talk about 2023 presidency , adding that Tinubu’ s presidential ambition had not been communicated to the party.

When asked to comment on Saraki ’ s statement , Nabena said , “ This ( Tinubu’ s ambition) has not been communicated to the party, so I cannot comment on it. Besides , why should anybody be talking about 2023 when we are in 2018? Is anybody God ?”
Tinubu, Saraki’ s conflict about personal interests – Afenifere
Commenting on the exchange of words between Saraki and Tinubu, the Yoruba socio -cultural association, Afenifere , expressed dismay over what it identified as the elevation of personal interests and ambitions over national good and development by politicians in the country .

It noted that the verbal exchanges between the APC leader , Bola Tinubu , and Senate President Bukola Saraki were all about their personal interests.
Afenifere spokesman, Yinka Odumakin , expressed disappointment that the two men were more interested in personal ambitions than in national good and progress.

“ You cannot see anything in these exchanges that talk about national good or higher values . The only thing that was substantial was when Saraki said he was against Muslim -Muslim ticket in 2014. If that was true, it would have been unthinkable in a Nigeria so badly divided as it is today . Clearly , the arguments were about personal interests and ambitions, ” Afenifere noted .

It’ s not a crime to be ambitious – Junaid Mohammed
But a Kano State delegate to the 2014 National Conference , Dr Junaid Mohammed, said there was nothing wrong with Tinubu or anybody for that matter being ambitious.
He stated he would not quarrel with politically -ambitious people so long as the process of actualising their ambition would not lead to collateral damage that could ruin the country.
Mohammed made his view known in a telephone interview with one of our correspondents in Abuja on Tuesday.
The medical doctor -turned politician said , “ Unlike Bukola Saraki , I do not blame anybody for being ambitious as long as the process of achieving the ambition doesn ’ t create so must collateral damage that will be harmful to the country . I don’ t have any problem with it.

Speaking about Tinubu’ s statement which led to Saraki ’ s response, Mohammed said , “ I don’ t know if the information he has as regards either Buhari himself, Tambuwal or Bukola Saraki for that matter is necessarily 100 per cent reliable .
“ Let me state for the records , Tinubu is my friend and I would not take issue with people I consider my friends publicly .

“ Having said so , I must admit that some of his criticisms in defence of Buhari , the APC and even Adams Oshiomhole, who was until recently a persona non grata to him , is something I find rather amusing and somewhat a little surprising .

“ And I don’ t know whatever calculations he might have had in his defence right or wrong of Buhari contrary to what he tells people in private; no matter how he goes about his defence of Buhari and people like Oshiomhole and others , I don’ t think that will pay him off eventually in his own political ambition . ”

Tinubu shouldn’ t think North will support him in 2023 – Adebanjo
But a chieftain of Afenifere , Chief Ayo Adebanjo , says the APC leader must be naive to think that the North will allow him to succeed Buhari in 2023.

The 90- year- old statesman also urged the people of the South -West not to allow themselves to be fooled by Tinubu a second time.

Speaking with one of our correspondents on the telephone on Tuesday, Adebanjo said , “ Tinubu is daydreaming if he thinks the North will ever support his presidential ambition. We have our principles.
“ We are not supporting Buhari under any circumstance and Tinubu cannot lead Yoruba land because all he has done is to lead us astray. All he has done for us is to give some of our people who are close to him appointments .

“ Nothing tangible has been done for Yoruba land. He gave his stooges appointments , nothing more, nothing less . If he has done more than that , let him say it . ”

Adebanjo said the only demand the Yoruba had made was restructuring which the APC had been dishonest about .

The Afenifere chieftain said one of the reasons Afenifere supported Buhari in 2007 was because of his promise to restructure the country to allow for true federalism .
He said instead of keeping its promise , the APC resorted to setting up a committee on restructuring to deceive gullible Nigerians and the likes of Tinubu participated in the grand scheme of deception.
Adebanjo added , “ How can they be telling us about restructuring committee , when from the outset , they were supposed to have started restructuring. Who do they think they are fooling ? If Tinubu is daydreaming , he shouldn ’ t think others are daydreaming like him . ”
“ Buhari is a stranger to us in Yoruba land. The only Yoruba supporting him are those benefitting from this corrupt regime . ”

Attempts to get a reaction from Tinubu’ s Media Adviser , Mr Tunde Rahman, to Saraki and Adebanjo ’ s statements were unsuccessful . Calls to his mobile telephone number were neither picked nor returned .

Also in an SMS sent to him , Rahman was asked to comment on Saraki ’ s statement that Tinubu’ s support for Buhari was predicated on his 2023 ambition.
In the SMS , he was also asked to react to Ad banjo’ s comments that Tinubu was naïve to think the north would support his 2023 ambition . His response was still being awaited as of the time of filing this report at 7 .25 pm . The text message was sent at 5 .25

2019 Election: President Buhari Will Not Share Money — Lai Mohammed

Information and culture Minister Lai Mohammed says the Buhari administration is not interested in sharing money, but to provide basic needs of Nigerians.

Government, according to him,is aware of complaints by some Nigerians about lack of free money, and declared that the administration prefers to invest in infrastructure that would have ripple effects on the economy than sharing money to people and political stooges like the previous administration did.

“Yes, people are complaining of no money and high cost of living, but I want to tell you that it would have been worse today, but for the massive infrastructural development this government is investing on,” the minister said at Tatabu village near Mokwa in Niger State, while inspecting the reconstructed and rehabilitated Ilorin-Jebba- Mokwa Road project.

The 93.6 km road project includes the total reconstruction of Ilorin /Jebba Road and rehabilitation of failed portions from Jebba to Mokwa.

The Ilorin-Jebba road is part of the Lagos- Algiers Road called trans Sahara road which cuts across the West and North Africa.
In Nigeria, the road connects the South-West geo-geographical zone to the Northern part of the country.

Mohammed said: “When people make these complaints, they easily forget that for 16 years, one political party was in power, sharing money when this road became completely failed.

“APC, in three years, has fixed this road to this level. I think it speaks for itself.

“Before now, it would take about five days for trucks to move from Ilorin to Jebba. Today, it takes only two hours.

“Today, on this road, you can see free movement of goods and services which is the beginning of revival of the economy.”
The minister added: “We are not a government that will share money like what others did which put the country in a mess.

“This government believes in investing in infrastructure because if you get this right, it will translate to wealth creation.

“Let us take for instance: if this road contract costs N10 billion and we share it to political stooges in this area at N1 million each, we will only give 1,000 people and there will be no road.

“On the long run, those that we shared the money to will join in abusing the government for non-performance.

“On our part, we will rather slowly and painstakingly revive our economy through infrastructural development and we have a lot of stories to tell on this”.

Asked whether government would toll the road to raise money for its completion to Birnin-Gwari in Kaduna and for its dualisation, Mohammed said, not all roads could be tolled.
His words:”This matter came up at the last Federal Executive Council meeting and we agreed that, not all roads could be tolled.
“The idea of tolling roads is to recoup the expenses on the construction and make them sustainable.

“A study is being compiled, and at the end of it, it will be decided on what roads to toll and which not.”

The Federal Controller of Works, Kwara State, Mr Atitebi Wasiu, who conducted the minister and his entourage round the project, said the contract for the dualisation of the road had been awarded and work would commence in the next three weeks.

“The dualisation is awarded to the same contractor from Ilorin-Jebba-Mokwa at the total contract sum of N130 billion.

“The Kwara State section of the dualisation is awarded at N80 billion, while the Niger State section is about N50 billion,” he said.

Shocking: Fayemi Raises Alarm As Fayose Recruits 2000 Ekiti Teachers, Others

Barely two months to the end of his tenure, the Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, is set to recruit 1000 teachers and another 1000 workers of different categories into the state’s civil service.

The move is currently creating angst within the camp of the governor-elect, Kayode Fayemi, who has rejected the move and called on the citizens to be wary of such employment.
But Mr Fayose has argued that the recruitment was in keeping with his promise to the people of Ekiti State.

A statement on Friday by the governor’s Special Assistant on Public Communication and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said the final process of the recruitment exercise had commenced.

“In addition to the forms already obtained free of charge by the applicants, forms are now available at the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Civil Service Commission, Ministry of Health and other relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies,” he said.

“Forms for applicants seeking employment into the junior cadres of the public service are available at N500 each while those for the senior cadres are N1,000 each till August 24, 2018.”

Mr Olayinka berated Mr Fayemi and his party, APC, for criticising the recruitment exercise.
“With less than two weeks to the end of his tenure in 2014, Fayemi appointed eight permanent secretaries and they are still in office up till now,” Mr Olayinka recalled.
“He also recruited several workers behind closed doors and they are still in the service.”
He stated that Mr Fayemi should wait till October 16 when he would be sworn in governor, rather than acting as an “alternate government.”

“It is on record that Governor Fayose announced in January this year that recruitment will be made into the state public service and this was followed up with distribution of employment forms in May,” Mr Olayinka further said.

“This was consequent upon the existing vacancies in the public service, especially the teaching sector. There are schools without adequate teachers in critical subjects like Mathematics, Physics, English and others. So the students that are resuming in September should wait till Fayemi assumes office?

“Most importantly, Fayose will carry out all the functions of his office till October 16 and since there is need to employ workers, the government will do so through a transparent process.

“Isn’t it funny that the same APC people that criticised the government for constructing a modern Oja Oba Market in Ado Ekiti are now kicking against allocation of the shops to the people? So Governor Fayose should build the market for Fayemi to come and allocate the shops to his cronies?

“The APC in Ekiti State should therefore be reminded that there is still a government in the State and that government will not change until October 16, 2018.”

Earlier, Mr Fayemi had described the last minute move by the outgoing administration of Governor Fayose to recruit the workers as a deliberate effort to put obstacles in the way of the in-coming administration.

A statement by the Director of Media and Publicity in the Office of the governor-elect, Wole Olujobi, berated Mr Fayose for embarking on a last minute mass recruitment to allegedly deceive the unsuspecting victims and set a booby-trap for the incoming administration.

He said Mr Fayose was playing on the intelligence of the people to paint a picture of a man of the masses in clear infraction on the law.

“It is a grand deception and sheer wickedness for a governor that has refused to pay workers and pensioners for between six and 10 months to now turn around to recruit about 2,000 workers in a selective manner to favour his supporters only,” said Mr Olujobi.

He also described the governor’s planned recruitment as an act of desperation by a governor who never cared for the people but would always take advantage of them in a most dehumanising manner.

“Once again, we call on Ekiti people as we did in our recent press release to be wary of Fayose’s last minute illegal deals, transactions and mass recruitment which do not follow due process,” he added.

“Any transaction so done shall be reviewed by the incoming administration.”

How Melaye Saved Me From PDP Thugs At National Assembly – APC Lamaker

A member of the house of representatives from Edo state, has opened up on how Senator Dino Melaye saved him from thugs at the National Assembly.

Speaking while addressing journalists in Abuja on Thursday, a member of the house of representatives from Edo state, Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, accused his colleagues in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of sending thugs to assault him.

According to TheCable, the lawmaker said but for Dino Melaye, and another senator who “protected” him, he would have been attacked inside the National Assembly Complex on Tuesday.

Agbonayinma who was one of the few lawmakers in the All Progressives Congress (APC) that came to the complex during the security siege that lasted for hours, alleged that thugs hired by the PDP accosted him at the entrance of the complex.

He said: “The national assembly belongs to all political parties and Nigerians why must PDP thugs block me from entering the complex?.
“If I had reacted and stormed the place with other APC lawmakers, could they have withstood us? I chose to be a mature Nigerian. I equally want the thugs tried in the same vein with the invaders.

“The DSS also protected me from the rampaging thugs and the question is who brought them there if not the PDP.
“Even when I finally entered the complex PDP lawmakers told me I had no business being there and it was senators Matthew Uroghide and Dino Melaye who protected me.”
The lawmaker called for a probe of the alleged assault, saying: “This can’t happen in the United States as such thugs will be prosecuted. I demand for their prosecution.”
